NEWS:

We have some very exciting news for the 2024 Auction!  We are changing our auction platform and we have been graciously accepted to have this years online auction hosted by westerntradingpost.com

Western trading post is owned and operated by Jim and Bobbi Jeen Olson.

Western Trading Post can be seen in many large publications such as Cowboys & Indians magazine  social media, print advertisements and through an APP on the Apple APP Store

We are excited to introduce all of this years Gear Makers to an entirely new collectors audience and we hope that it proves to be lucrative to all Gear makers.

ALL ITEMS ENTERED INTO THE 2024 CONTEST MUST BE POSTMARKED OR RECEIVED BY 12/1/2023 

NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED

With the new auction platform we are under strict deadlines for submissions of Makers Photo, Bios and Images of each piece of gear.

We will have a gear makers gathering Thursday the 1st of February 5:30-7:00 PM  This will be your opportunity to visit with other makers, and get your hands on the contest gear.  We will also have judges sheets available for makers to view at this time ONLY.  We also hope to have some of the judges available for questions.

Friday February 2nd the CAGM will host a reception while the live auction is taking place online through Western Trading Post.  The reception will be held from 5:00-8:00pm.

Please tag the Cowboy Arts and Gear Museum, Nicole Poyo Photography and the Western Trading Post on all social media platforms.  We know it can be tricky to make progress posts while maintaining your unique creativity but we ask that you help us promote the event by making posts related to the contest.  There are many creative ways to achieve good content while maintaining exclusivity.   Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions.
