John Hyde grew up on a five thousand acre cattle ranch in Chiloquin, Oregon. He began silversmithing in his twenties mentored and influenced by some great reata men and cowboys. He enjoys crafting conchos, bridle and saddle trim and doing custom orders for working cowboys. John is married with three grown children and 10 grandchildren.
